Metzger Electric
Metzger Electric is a small family business based out of Waynesville, working Haywood County and the surrounding area.
Owner Kraig Metzger holds an Unlimited Classification NC electrical contractor’s license, which is the tier that lets a shop take on jobs with no dollar ceiling — commercial work and full new construction, not just service calls. His wife Hunter runs the office.
The work covers new construction and remodel wiring, commercial jobs, generators, EV chargers, hot tub and sauna circuits, outdoor lighting, and 24-hour troubleshooting. If you’re adding a generator or a charger, ask about the panel first — on a lot of houses in this county the service size, not the device, is what decides the price.
